According to them, the GTA 6 file size of the developer build was close to 80 GB. The Redditor stated that fans should expect to be a little less than 200 GB. The Redditor pointed out that developer builds tend to have only a few features active that one needs at a given point in time. As the development process of the game moves forward, the size of the game continues to grow bigger.

The file size of GTA 5 was more than 70 GB. On PC, the download size of the game was close to 94 GB. Red Dead Redemption 2, which came out five years later, had a file size amounting to 120 GB. With time, the games feature advanced technology and this directly reflects in their overall file size. Being mindful of the fact that GTA 6 is arriving in 2025, it would be quite realistic to expect it to be 200 GB or more.
Before the game arrives, one can expect fans to continue discussing GTA 6 file size extensively. With Rockstar putting its might behind making GTA 6 one of the most exciting games of all time, one should not expect it to be too concerned about things like file size.
