As per an industry veteran, GTA 6 could be launched on PC in early 2026!
In early 2022, Rockstar Games finally confirmed that it was working on the next iteration of the GTA franchise. For the longest time, one kept coming across rumors and insider information pertaining to GTA 6. Rockstar, however, refrained from confirming anything. Once it finally confirmed the existence of GTA 6, fans’ excitement knew no bounds and they started waiting for the gaming studio to share more information about the game.
In these last three years, Rockstar has shared updates about GTA 6 sporadically. In December 2023, the studio launched the first trailer of GTA 6 and it sent the entire gaming community into a state of frenzy. While many were expecting Rockstar to release a second trailer for the game, it has not happened as yet. Rockstar, however, has confirmed that the game will be released in the fall of 2025.

GTA 6, being the most awaited game this year, is expected to be launched on all leading platforms. In online communities, gamers had discussed the possibility of the game being released on different platforms on different days. The PC version of GTA 5 launched a while after it came out on other consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
While GTA 5 got a launch on September 17, 2013, the PC version was released in 2015. PC users were worried about Rockstar following a similar release pattern this time around. However, if the claims made by a Corsair Gaming employee are anything to go by, that won’t be the case this time around.

When the gaming studio announced GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, it did not say anything about a PC port. Ronald van Veen, who serves as the finance VP of Corsair Gaming, has shed some light on the game’s PC release.

As per a prediction made by Veen, fans can expect to see the PC port of GTA 6 arriving a couple of months after it gets a console release in 2025. So, early 2026 is when fans will get the opportunity to play GTA 6 on PC.
Despite the confident claims made by Veen, fans remain skeptical about the PC release of GTA 6. On 26 October 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 was launched on the console. It took more than a year for the game to come out on PC.
