
The Redmi K90 series has become a topic of discussion even before the global launch of the K80 lineup.
While a past leak hinted at the processor details of the base variant Redmi K90, a new leak reveals the launch timeframe of the upcoming series.
According to the Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the K90 series will arrive before its K70 and K80 lineups. The post mentions that the series will see the light of day in October 2025. For the unversed, the Redmi K80 series broke cover in October last year.
Expected Redmi K90 Lineup Specs
The Redmi K90 lineup will have at least two smartphones, Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro.

The vanilla K90 will have a 3nm+ processor with a fully custom architecture under its hood. This processor will be manufactured as a collaboration between the manufacturer and Qualcomm. Its performance will be at par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The Pro variant, Redmi K90 Pro, will have a straight OLED panel with a resolution of 2K like that of its predecessor. While the details of all cameras are not yet known, the handset will incorporate a periscope telephoto camera with a 50 MP resolution. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset from Qualcomm.
Talking about the price, the K90 Pro is slated to have a price range of 4,000 Yuan to 5,000 Yuan.

This translates to a price increase of 22% with respect to the Redmi K70 Pro and a hike in price by 9% in comparison to the K80 Pro.
At this point in time, it is worth keeping in mind that the brand has not yet officially confirmed or revealed any details about the Redmi K90 series. Hence, all details mentioned above about the series can change over time and must be considered with a pinch of salt.
