Samsung has already rolled out the October 2024 security patch update for a few of its flagship S-series smartphones in select countries.
The manufacturer has now started making the update available to a few other handsets and tablets as well.
The update fixes over 40 security issues. As is always the case, there are two ways the update can be installed on the manufacturer’s smartphones and tablets. The first and simplest way to do this is through the Software update section in the Settings menu. The other way is to opt for a manual installation using the Odin tool on a Windows PC. It is important to have a stable Internet connection for an uninterrupted download of the update.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3
The South Korean tech giant has for now started rolling out the most recent security update only to carrier-locked Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablets in the United States featuring the model number SM-T577U.
The firmware is associated with version T577UUESBEXJ3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is eligible for a quarterly security update. In other words, the Tab Active 3 will receive security updates from the manufacturer once in three months.
Galaxy A32 5G
While Samsung does not support new Android versions for the Galaxy A32 5G, the manufacturer still makes the smartphone eligible for security patch updates. As of now, the latest security patch update is available for the factory-unclocked variant with the model number SM-A326U1 in the United States and international variants with the model number SM-A326B.

The firmware version for the factory-unlocked variant is A326U1UESGDXJ2 whereas the firmware version for the international variant is A326BXXSDCXJ2.
Galaxy A25
The manufacturer has started offering the recent security patch update for the Galaxy A25 smartphones with the model number SM-A256B in selected countries in Europe. These countries are the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Poland, Serbia, and Portugal.
The firmware is available with version A256BXXS6BXJ1. The smartphone is eligible for the One UI 7.0 update after the high-end as well as mid-range handsets.
