The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi will unveil its Pad 7 lineup featuring the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro along with the Xiaomi 15 series of flagship smartphones at the end of the month.
Various details have been leaked in the past about both the new tablets. A new leak now puts forth some insights into the processor and display of the higher-end tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
Processor Specifications
The leak by Digital Chat Station hints that the tablet will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm. This processor will be capable of supporting challenging tasks.
Display Details
The same tipster mentions that the tablet will have an LCD panel like earlier tablets from the manufacturer. While earlier reports suggested an AMOLED panel, this new leak makes us believe that it will not be so. The Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with a huge display of 11.6 inches in size and a 2880 x 1800 resolution. It will also support DC dimming that reduces eye strain and minimizes flicker.
Other Expected Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro Specifications
It is speculated that the tablet will come with a 50 MP main camera. It is not clear whether a secondary depth sensor will accompany the primary shooter. Past rumors mention that the Pad 7 Pro will be powered by a 10,000 mAh battery.

Going by the new leak, this battery will support 67 W rapid charging. The tablet is expected to support AI as the leak states AI and deep interconnection as its salient features. It is anticipated to be enclosed in an all-metal body and come with the manufacturer’s Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro are anticipated to feature a USB Type-C 3.2 port and Wi-Fi 7 support. It is not known whether they will incorporate cellular or 5G connectivity. The tablets are also slated to have a fingerprint sensor on the side for security.
